A long over due post!

So I know it's been awhile. Much has happened in the last couple of months. We celebrated Ellsie's First birthday, she is such a little cutie pie! Halloween was a blast and at Thanksgiving we made the wonderful announcement we will be expecting our third child in May! All of a sudden It's Christmas and I'm way behind. So as you may have all noticed I didn't get my Christmas cards out this year but I did make them with the intention of sending them. So here's your card on post form. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, and spend it with all your loved ones.

State Fun Fair!

I took Jaxon to the state fair last year and he has never stopped talking about it. So we headed out to the fair again luckily this year Jed was not working. Jaxon loves to see the animals my favorite our the pigs and bunnies!
Cute Jed, Jax and Ellsie taking a little drink stop!
Jaxon, Amy and my dad I think he is a little hungry or crazy!
A tree full a silly pears !
This is the best part of the fair, I didn't get to go last year because I was very pregnant with Ellsie. I didn't get a good picture of Jed and Jaxon coming down but this is them making the long trek up the stairs. It was very high up, and it didn't make it any better when we got to the top Brayden asked me if the slide fell down would we die. Oh kids some of the things they say.

Sunday best!

Ellsie and Jaxon looked so cute on Sunday, I of course had to have a photo session. I think Jaxon gets sick of me always wanting to take his picture. Oh well these turned out so cute, I'm so glad I have them.

Birthday Boy!

My little Jaxon is the big four, I can't believe it! I'm not sure where the time has gone. I wish I could just freeze time and keep him small. Jaxon had a great birthday we celebrated 3 times so by time it was all over, I was very happy but I think he just wanted more party time!

Painting on paper....

So Jed bought me my digital CLR camera and I kinda just forgot about my little digital camera. Anyway I found these pictures from a couple of months ago. Gatlin and Jaxon were painting with water colors and I was board.... so I thought it would be a great idea to paint there faces. Jaxon thought it was great fun but Gatlin didn't like it, he looked into the mirror with just the glasses on and started to get very upset about the whole thing. I finally calmed him down and at least got a picture of them. Jaxon of course then wanted to paint my face and hey why not, who knew water colors could be so much fun! It was a great day full of fun and laughter.

Nelson Family Camp out!

We had a great weekend of camping in the Unitas. We stayed in the Soap stone campground which was very nice, although the bathrooms were very hard to breath in and take care of your business. Other then that the weather and lake were just perfect. It was great to get away from the heat and just relax for the weekend with family! The Nelson crew... so sad we missed Mel, Brad, Chloe, and Troy we love you guys!
Lindsey and Rachel playing in the cold lake water.
Cute Emily... I think this is her second appearance on the blog, you go girl!
Ellsie in her port a crib. She likes to eat to many things right now, so no crawling around. Thank goodness for the baby cage.
Cute Jaxon playing in the lake and loving it.

Blame the dog

My twin little boys! Gatlin had the shirt first and then my friend Lessa bought Jaxon one for his upcoming (fourth) birthday. So when Gatlin wore his, Jaxon of course needed to have his on. I think they both look so cute. It's so funny going places with the too of them, people always ask if they are twins. I explained what the shirt meant to Jaxon and now Jaxon's excuse for everything is the dog..... poor lilly!
As I was making this post, Jaxon saw the pictures and asked why Gatlin is taller then him.... Hmmm well my answer was "sorry buddy your mom and dad are short and you most likely will be a short guy". He thought about my answer for a minute and his reply was "I'll just were high shoes".

Zoo Zoo Zipty Zoo!

I've been trying to get to the zoo all summer long and it just never seemed to happen... But as you can see we finally made the trip to the zoo! Jaxon and Gatlin were so excited to see all of the animals and be with their cousins. Jaxon's favorite animal was the Giraffe's when we went to see them he said " WOW mom they are GI-normous". It was a great day, although I missed the hippo's those are my favorite, but I made up for it with a big bag of cotton candy!

Pioneer Day!

We all got together for a BBQ to celebrate the 24th of July and say goodbye to Dave and Patty's little family. They are moving to Pennsylvania, Patty sister lives there and they went back there last summer and just feel in love with the area. I can't blame them when Jed and I were on the truck that area was one of our favorites. The BBQ was great fun the kids enjoyed swimming and we got a couple of cute pictures with everyone, that can be a hard task at times. When the party was about over, Amy, Nellie, Maggie and Shay decide it would be a great idea to throw Molly into the pool (she was fully dress). Although I didn't get any pictures of the event it was just great. The best part about it was after they threw her in all the boys ran for them and threw Amy, Nellie, Maggie and Shay into the pool. Some how I stayed dry... I was worried for a moment and tried to stay out of the way. So the 24th was a great day, and we will miss Dave, Patty, Brianna and Austin, good luck you guys we will miss you all!

The boys were outside playing in the sprinklers and Ellsie wanted to join the fun so she crawled on over and just enjoyed herself. She is such a little sweet heart.

Family camp out

My little Ellsie was so sad, she just wanted me to hold her but of course I wanted to try and get a cute picture of my kids. Jaxon was so cute trying to get Ellsie to stop crying. He is such a good big brother.
The Nelson Family

Bear Lake

We had a great time at Bear lake this past weekend, we stayed up in a camp ground in Paris springs and then drove down to Bear lake. Jaxon and Ellsie had a great time playing in the water and sand, I think Ellsie just liked to eat the sand.

Happy chocolate girl!

I know I know, I shouldn't give my Ellsie sugar but look at the joy and happiness on her little face. I was making a cake for Jed's birthday and she was sitting on the counter watching. How could I resist her cute face. I'm sure there's more on her face then she actually ate. She was not so happy about the clean up process, she hates her face being washed.

Funny Hair

We currently have no grass in our yard, so Ellsie was sitting on our neighbors grass just enjoying herself while the kids rode their bikes. Apparently it was a little windy, I promise I didn't make her hair that way on purpose.

Memorial Day

Jaxon with Jed's four wheeler helmet on, he loves riding on the four wheeler.
We had a great Memorial weekend. We had the chance to go up to Jed's family cabin which is just outside of Kamas. I've had the opportunity to go up there for varies girls retreats and family gatherings. Ellsie was asleep and Jaxon was playing with his cousins, so we ran and took a moment away for a four wheeler ride together. With the wind blowing in my hair and the mud flying on my face I felt young again. Jed of course being the thrill seeker he is had to go up and down the best trails. I had a great time and loved just being outside with my little honey.

Proud moment

So Jaxon thinks he's HOT stuff! Jed raised his training wheels so they no longer touch the ground at all. He was able to start and stop the first time. He is getting so BIG. I can't believe he is already riding with no training wheels, what a stud!

Mothers Day Celebration

Jaxon and Sadie Dean
Rachel Dean
Annie Murdock and Jaxon
My little Ellsie
Two very crazy girls!

We enjoyed a great Mother's day at Robert and Ruth's house. As always the food was wonderful (hamburger and hot dogs... yummy I love summer food) The kids had a great time, I love watching Jaxon play with his cousins. I'm so glad that he has so many, that's one thing that I didn't get to enjoy growing up. I think it so important for them to have a close relationship.

Jed surprised me with the new book from Stephanie Meyer, The host. I just stared reading it and so far it's very good. Jaxon with the help of the wonderful Mrs. Lessa made me a jeweler box with his picture in it and a cute bracelet. I think the best gift I had this year was the home made card from my Jebba. all the wonderful and mushy things he said are what made it the best gift. Here's a little insert of what the card said ( nothing personal).

M any Sacrifices

O thers ( you always put them first)

T houghtful

H appy

E asy going

R aising 2 great kids

A Hallmark card couldn't have said it better. I hope everyone had a great mothers day!

Dirty little toes

These are Will's little dirty toes, he was having a great time playing at Grandma Ruthie's house on Mother's day. I hope he washed his feet before he went to bed!

Emily's Big moment

Random pictures

Here's just some random pictures of the kids during the last few months. Everything has been going good here. I have started watching Gatlin (my sister Molly's boy) he is 3 and most of the time Jaxon and him play great. It's been fun having him around but a little stressfull while I've been trying to potty train him. Today he tried to wipe number 2 by himselft I thought I was going to die it was everywhere. It's moments like these I just want to scream and pull my hair out. But it all seems to work out 10 minutes later Jaxon and Gatlin are on the counch with Ellsie making her giggle, it's those moments that keep me from going crazy.... We'll were off to the park today for a picnic. I'm so glad it's summer, I love taking them to the park they come back home and just want to pass out on the couch watching Nemo, that's what I call good babysitting.
