Christmas in Febuary!

My parents gave us an all paid trip (including watching of all the grand kids) to Lava Hot Springs Idaho for Christmas. We left on Friday and headed out for the hot pools, which I love. We have done this trip a couple of times now in the winter and it has always been something I look forward to. We took up two trailers and we camp out in the cold weather. Yes I know this sounds crazy but it's part of the fun. This year was the warmest, which made for very muddy feet, but we still had a great time. We got up there around 5:00 on Friday and went right for the pools. It has to be the best feeling, it's freezing outside and so so so warm in the water. After a couple of hours of sitting we all headed back to the camp and enjoyed some yummy pronto taco soup and played games. In the morning we made one more trip to the pools and then headed on home. We always like to stop at Maddox steak house on the way there or home this time we stop on the way home and enjoyed some yummy BEEF! It was all in all a great little getaway. It made me miss my kids and I was glad to get back home. If your every trying to find a winter vacation that is the best place. It's great for kids in the summer then they can enjoy the water park. Ryan enjoying his 32oz Porterhouse steak at Maddox, It was gone in about 10 minutes and he still wanted more.

A glimpse of warm weather!

I was bringing Jaxon and Gatlin home from preschool last week, and it was so nice outside we had to enjoy it! The Kids ran up up down the driveway for at least an hour. I finally had to drag them inside for some much needed lunch. I love being able to get outside, the kids have such a great time!

A long over due post!

So I know it's been awhile. Much has happened in the last couple of months. We celebrated Ellsie's First birthday, she is such a little cutie pie! Halloween was a blast and at Thanksgiving we made the wonderful announcement we will be expecting our third child in May! All of a sudden It's Christmas and I'm way behind. So as you may have all noticed I didn't get my Christmas cards out this year but I did make them with the intention of sending them. So here's your card on post form. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, and spend it with all your loved ones.

State Fun Fair!

I took Jaxon to the state fair last year and he has never stopped talking about it. So we headed out to the fair again luckily this year Jed was not working. Jaxon loves to see the animals my favorite our the pigs and bunnies!
Cute Jed, Jax and Ellsie taking a little drink stop!
Jaxon, Amy and my dad I think he is a little hungry or crazy!
A tree full a silly pears !
This is the best part of the fair, I didn't get to go last year because I was very pregnant with Ellsie. I didn't get a good picture of Jed and Jaxon coming down but this is them making the long trek up the stairs. It was very high up, and it didn't make it any better when we got to the top Brayden asked me if the slide fell down would we die. Oh kids some of the things they say.

Sunday best!

Ellsie and Jaxon looked so cute on Sunday, I of course had to have a photo session. I think Jaxon gets sick of me always wanting to take his picture. Oh well these turned out so cute, I'm so glad I have them.

Birthday Boy!

My little Jaxon is the big four, I can't believe it! I'm not sure where the time has gone. I wish I could just freeze time and keep him small. Jaxon had a great birthday we celebrated 3 times so by time it was all over, I was very happy but I think he just wanted more party time!

Painting on paper....

So Jed bought me my digital CLR camera and I kinda just forgot about my little digital camera. Anyway I found these pictures from a couple of months ago. Gatlin and Jaxon were painting with water colors and I was board.... so I thought it would be a great idea to paint there faces. Jaxon thought it was great fun but Gatlin didn't like it, he looked into the mirror with just the glasses on and started to get very upset about the whole thing. I finally calmed him down and at least got a picture of them. Jaxon of course then wanted to paint my face and hey why not, who knew water colors could be so much fun! It was a great day full of fun and laughter.
